Really such a sharp set of phrases, even in sepia–especially love ‘a desert wind/
tuning an old requiem…’ you make the reader feel it blowing dry on the face, sucking out every drop of moisture from the skin.
Dreaming in sepia.. a little similar to how my poem ended, we must have had similar thoughts. Sometimes you cannot differ from the landscape and your dreams.
I like your brevity and the clear essence of the desert that you convey.
