When the leaf becomes a lie…so much can be put into this. I think of spring coming and how winter still seems to be hanging on – the blooms on the plum tree becomes little icicles in the overnight freeze – a lie of spring. LikeLike Reply

That is hard on the leaf that has done it’s duty and allowed the tree to survive by dropping off to conserve energy and moisture through the winter. LikeLike Reply
