Sprinkled with Stars

he was light
that spilt no shadow,
feeding cheer in silver spoons
to the waltzing moon;
each morning,
he traded joy,
sunshine cradled in his throat,
screaming bargains at passersby,
happiness, he shouted, sprinkled with stars,
how much will you pay for a smile?
