river bend
carrying the deluge
on her hip

***

look at time
staring at herself
in the river

  1. I’ve been following Basho’s journey through your simple and spirit rich words, a constant reminder of the power and magic of solitude, something I need at this point in life and so am grateful for the salve of your poetry.
