    like a stranger
    nodding through the window

    love those lines … this piece much like the direction, I went in with my poem. A really touching and evocative bit of writing that I was quite moved by.


  2. Looking in and looking out, another mirroring that I wish I had thought of. Driving by and loving, seeing the past through the present–and standing still as the parade goes by. Same thing, yes?

  4. Memory is so very elusive… Your poem illustrates this fact so well. Reading it, I felt like reaching out to catch the stranger, to remember that which is just there… on the tip of my mind’s tongue…
